In addtion to traditional EMS (electronic manufacturing services), STx can build up systems comprised of a chassis containing multiple PCBA's (printed circuit board assemblies) and software. We offer 2 types of solutions:

Embedded Computers

STx can integrate your custom computing solution using off the shelf mainboards, chassis, IO cards, and software. Traditonal computing form-factors include "ATX, baby-ATX, micro-ATX, and BTX". STx specializes in the hybrid consumer/industrial defacto standard called "mini-ITX". This was pioneered by VIA Technologies of Taiwan, the largest supplier of fanless X86 processors. STx will integrate both 3rd party mainboards as well as its own- a partial list of STx mainboards is below:

Via-based mainboards include the following CPUs: C7, Eden, Corefusion

Intel-based mainboards include: Celeron, Pentium 3, and CoreDuo

Telecom Architecture

ATCA (advanced telecom computing architecture) and uTCA (micro telecom computing architecture) are new standards evolved to meet the requirements of powerful high-speed fabric based interconnects. Several industry groups have endorsed these new architectures; STx focuses on those related specifically to Serial RAPIDIO which include PICMIG 3.5, AMC.4, MCTA.0, and CP-TA (Communication Platforms Trade Association).
